During checkout you will be able to enter special instructions or comments. Also during checkout make sure to use the "Shipping Fields" to fill in the address where the test is to be performed. The county were the test is to be done should match the county that was purchased in the online store.
If an appointment date is needed, we will email or call to confirm an appointment. Please allow sufficient time for collecting and analyzing the sample, usually 2 weeks. All results will be completed within 1 week of collection. If you need results sooner, please let us know in the special instructions or comments section. We will do everything we can to meet your deadline. There is an extra charge for extremely rushed results. You will be contacted with rush pricing and sampler availability for rushed samples.
Site Visit: You will be charged for a site visit if we come out to the property and are unable to get a sample through no fault of ours. If there is chlorine in the water, we cannot take a bacteria sample. We supply free of charge tablets and directions to test your well for chlorine. You can also use any chlorine pool supply test kit. The charge for a site visit is the Bacteria Only fee in your county less $65.00. New wells (Use & Occupancy): Many counties have different rules for new wells (Use & Occupancy). Most of the pricing is already covered in your order. Includes collection, total coliform bacteria, e. coli, nitrates, sand, turbidity and pH. Caroline, Queen Anne, and Talbot counties require arsenic (additional $48.00) testing for new wells. Anne Arundel county requires iron testing for a new well, add $15.00. Cecil county requires iron testing if the turbidity is >10, add $15.00. Anne Arundel county requires cadmium testing for a new well if the pH is less than 6.0, add $45.00. Anne Arundel, Caroline, Harford, Frederick, Prince Georges and Talbot counties need an additional bacteria test after the original satisfactory U & O test, add appropriate bacteria only price for specified county. Please understand that not all wells come out free of bacteria and chemicals. If we find something in your sample, you will be notified immediately and given some possible procedures to fix the problem.
